"Impart-iculture"
Teach a man to garden, and you feed him for a lifetime

Where
Chester Creek cafe has a wall that needed attention. It wasn't much to look at, and MANA had an idea to bring brightness and community to the location. After meeting with the owner, a plan was set into motion.

Why
This mural is one that is very special to MANA. It represents the passing on of knowledge from our elders to our urban youth. Connecting with our food in whole and natural ways so that our food is our medicine. Many people are disconnected from the food that they eat and fresh vegetables are often stripped of their valuable nutrients by the time they arrive to the average plate. Digging our fingers into the soil and reaping our own benefits is a dying lifestyle that needs representation to our communities.

MANA used an existing drain to create a 3D illusion of a watering can.

Where can I view more?
